ESXi 6.0 boot from iSCSI

I'm trying to figure out the big picture steps for doing boot from iSCSI. I don't need anything fancy as this for study purposes (VCP). My hardware does not support iSCSI so I figured I would use an ESXi 6.0 virtual machine plus iPXE as suggested in VMware's documentation [1]. iPXE is the successor to gPXE [2]. I'm assuming that the path of lowest, or nearly lowest, resistance is a lightly attended install which suggests that at boot time the virtual machine needs PXE access to the install media and obviously iSCSI access to the destination device. I'm saving the fully automated install for when I get to AutoDeploy. Once I get the big picture clear I intend on following up over in the iPXE forums for the PXE and iSCSI details.

Thanks.
