We will be upgrading from 5.0 to 5.8 soon.
I am still confused by how to backup our two Mirage storage volumes.
One is a secondary virtual hard disk on the VM. 650GB in use by CVDs.
Second is a W2K8R2 physical file server. 1TB in use by CVDs.
What is the best method to backup these storage volumes before upgrading?
I see in the 5.0 admin guide, there are specific recommendations to use block based backup.
Are we expected to have a separate storage of ~2TB to be able to backup this data before upgrade?
