I have a situation that I'm not sure how to fix. I used a W2K8R2 shell and built I RHEL 5.10 Server using a DISA Kick start disk. When I go to install VMware tool the guest system that is being recognized is W2K8R2 .exe upgrade file. I need the version for RHEL. When I console into the machine to look at the version of the operating system, it tells me RHEL 5.10. Can this be fixed?
