I am using vFabric Hyperic 5.0. One linux box has been added as a network device on it to try to receive SNMP trap sent from an application hosted on this linux box. By following the guide Configuring Hyperic as an SNMP Trap Receiver (http://pubs.vmware.com/vfabric5/index.jsp?topic=/com.vmware.vfabric.hyperic.4.6/Configuring_Hyperic_as_an_SNMP_Trap_Receiver.html), I am able to see the port has been opened by java.exe, and keep receiving packets, when the applicaiton is running and sending SNMP trap message from linux box. But from Hyperic Console I didn't see any SNMP Trap message showed up under that linux box under any matric, and I also don't know how to set up to show those SNMP traps or create alert or notification based on SNMP trap. Is there any documentation to guide through, how to present SNMP trap and processed them in Hyperic?
