I've looked and looked (googled) for help on ending "VMware Tools Install" and noting seems to work. I can't be the only one seeing this.
Please help.
I was able to find the following but it did not help at all.
cd /vmfs/volumes/[datastore]/[vmname]
vim-cmd vmsvc/getallvms
2 vm-guest [datastore vm-guest-folder/vm-guest.vmx rhel6_64Guest vmx-08
vim-cmd vmsvc/tools.cancelinstall 2
