VM freezes after reboot VM reboot

Hi,

I've installed VMWare Workstation 9.0.1 on my laptop. Everytime I reboot a virtual machine it freezes the virtual machine on the screen where you would normally be able to select to go into bios.

And on top of that, VMWare Workstation also freezes and becomes completly unresponsive...

I've tried with Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows Server 2008 R2 as virtual machines. Both VM's freeze at the same screen.

Any idea's what it might be?
