I have an SAP application on vapp which has set specified VM reservation (both MEM /CPU )
mem/cpu reservation set to 20GB/2GHZ
I wanted to know what impact can happen to application if
a) i remove the memory reservation -- what is the impact here?
b) remove CPU reservation -- what is the impact here?
c) both memory / CPU reservation -- what is the impact here?
what all operations does ESX do when mem/cpu reservation is not set
Will my application become slower because many such VMs would cause ESX to spend more time in mem/cpu (correct me pls)
