We have View 6 floating linked-clone desktops running on 2 hosts. One is Cisco UCS 240 running ESXi 6.7.0 13644319 and the other is Supermicro SYS-2027GR running ESXi 6.7.0 14320388. On a desktop on the Cisco host, running Tools version 10.3.5.10430147 I can play videos of various formats fine. If I try to run the same videos on the desktop hosted on the Supermicro, running the same Tools version, or subsequent versions, I get an error "Windows Media Player cannot play the video because there is a problem with your video card". I can play the videos if I back tools down to version 10.0.9.3917699. I suspect an incompatibility between the newer Tools versions and the Supermicro graphics hardware but just wondering if anyone has any settings tweaks or other methods to get videos to play in these circumstances. So far, video playback is the only issue I've seen running the up to date Tools version on the Supermicro host in a couple dozen desktops used regularly.
