I am looking for instructions on how to set up Virtual Machines so that I can access the MSSQL server from another host

Hello,

I have a couple VM's, with MSSQL 2016 databases set up, that I would like to use from a couple of client machines on my network. I am having issues seeing the VM database servers. Is there any documentation that will give me a procedure on how to do this?
