changed management network - lost access to host

I am setting up a dedicated management network, step by step.

Old setup: 2 VLANs, 10.0.25.0/24 and 10.0.20/25

vcenter server at 10.0.25.30

2 hosts (esxi6.5), one at 10.0.25.34, other at 10 0 20.51

New setup: above 2 VLANS plus a new management LAN at 172.16.254.0/24

2nd NIC on vCenter Server is now 172.16.254.30

Management Network address on the vlan25 host is now 172.16.254.50. (I did this through the console on the physical host)

No VMs on this host yet but they will all be running on vlan25

networking and routing all works no problem

The vlan25 host can be managed through the web interface at 172.16.254.50 no problem

But now vCenter server has lost contact with the host 10.0.25.34.  I am not surprised at this but how do I now point vCenter server to find this old host at its new network address? I imagine I could just delete the host and then add it back in under the new address but is there a better way to do it?

This is a new host with no VMs on it yet so no big deal. Once I learn how to reconnect it I will put the vlan20 host on the management network. But that host has production servers running on it so I don't want to mess things up on that one. I'm learning/testing on the vlan25 host
