Good day,
I have two ESX 4 hosts in a clustered configuration, each running multiple VMs. Yesterday afternoon something happened to one of the hosts, and now it is in a 'not responding' state in vcenter, and I can't ping the host or ping out from the host's console. Luckily the other host took over the failed host's VMs for the time being. The physical box the failed host is running on appears to be fine, as well as the switch between the two hosts. From the ESX console on the failed host, the networking configuration is correct, all the NICs are up, so I'm not sure what I should check next. Any ideas as to where the issue may be?
